In September 2008, LUXURY FASHION FINE JEWELLERY BRAND – FSAugusta launched at IJL London, by Design-Duo Zinzi Coetzee and Ursula Horton. Since then the FSA Brand has fast become a force to be reckoned with in the Jewellery World. Propelling a formidable, unforgettable, instantly wearable, confident, cheeky and indulgent approach to jewellery design, that is on a journey set to achieve international stardom.

DESIGN-DUO
Zinzi and Ursula, originally studied Fashion and Design at Central Saint Martins (2001 – 2005). It is their savvy, outlandish fashion perspective that injects a cheeky delicious indulgence into their jewellery. With different yet colliding tastes, the Design-duo have created an exciting and dichotic brand personality that is a reflection of their combined individual styles, tastes and visions. Zinzi is half South African, half English, whilst Ursula is half Chinese, half English. The Designers describe the personality of their Brand as ‘schizophrenic with a classical undercurrent.’ Striving to break the boundaries between disposable Costume Jewellery and traditional Fine Jewellery, beautifully bold mixing traditional hand craftsmanship with modern technologies, the FSA Brand offers pieces that are perfect and unique.
What excites you most about the FSAugusta Brand?

What has been your proudest moment yet since the launch of FSAugusta in September 2008?
“I think the proudest moment has to be when we became an International Brand as that had always been what both of us wanted for the brand, and to have taken that from a dream to reality was very exciting, although I am focused on world domination, we have made a good start!!” ZINZI

SEASONS
SEASON ONE (SS09 & AW09) Launched in 2008-2009
The FSAugusta Launch Collections were inspired by Artist Salvador Dali, especially his misshapen melting objects, offset with sharp lines and facets, Chinese golden pigs and the outlandishness of Rn’B bling culture. Offered in a Sunkist California colour palette of 18crt yellow and red gold, mixing shades of crimson red, orange, yellow white and black precious stones and diamonds. Highlights of SEASON ONE include the infamous, loveable Pig Rings, the beguiling Dali Bangles and the Signature Dali Facet Bangles and Earrings.
SEASON TWO (SS10 & AW10) Launched in 2009-2010 (New)
The Designers selected a collection of glamorous women including Grace Kelly, Marilyn Monroe, Princess Diana and Lady Ga Ga all of whom have somehow inspired and provoked design stimulation. SEASON TWO, draws on the shiny playful wit of artist Jeff Koons and the unashamed flashy glitz of the Wynn Hotel. Playing with scale, there is a hatching Kimodo dragon, and a tiny Thorny Devil lizard both of which have been exquisitely handcrafted. FSAugusta’s SEASON TWO colour palette encompasses vibrant raspberry and soft pink tones offset with zealous greens and opulent purples, working in 18crt yellow and white gold, 18crt yellow gold plate and 925 silver. Highlights of SEASON TWO include the Signature FSA Bow, the Wynn Loops and the glitzy Wynn and JK Cocktail Rings.

QUALITY & CARE
FSAugusta jewellery is made to be perfect and unique. Mixing modern technology with traditional hand craftsmanship each piece boasts quality and individuality that is the nature of the designs and the manufacturing process. The Fashion Jewellery is made with 3 and 5 microns of 18crt yellow gold plate. The 18crt red gold plate colour is achieved by a coating that contains a small content of copper. Typically red plate is less hardwaring than yellow. Ensure the quality and care of plated jewellery by avoiding abrasive contact or chemicals. FSA offers a re-plate and re-polish service for its Fashion Jewellery, contact the Brand for a quotation.
