Mmmm  the delightful Christopher Kane. . . yup a lot more lace people – it’s just everywhere right now!!  Loving the macabre lace and flower combo - fabulous floral illustrations! The 20’s PVC collar well they are simply inspired!! The dark Gothic undertones are exactly what we were all needing this season and provided by the ideal designer. . .the PVC A-line skirts have a fabulous movement and sheen, even if I did want to throw something in them just too see what happened! The detailed brocade Esq. panelling will both add curves where needed and slim down the slightly curvier figure . . . intended or not it is sure to boost body confidence  . . . and the gladiator S&m style shoes, ideal – assisting in the conversion of a 90’s feel to AW10. As for the leather detailed tops, lace and PVC combos with jewel detail well hold me back, because I will be stealing a sample size dress and I will be fitting in to it, because that dress and I well we are destined to be together! HENRY HOLLAND is always someone I can rely on to deliver a show filled with colour and energy. Holland took me back to my I heart Molly Ringwald days, ahh such fond memories with a little Desperately Seeking Susan thrown in for good measure. Holland has kept his love of lace from last season via the violet tights, a colour which is ever present throughout his playful show, as were the non nautical strips, and the green that I was hoping would continue to be a theme this season. Loving the head bows, we have not yet seen the death of them just yet, especially the head variety! Holland is on a print fantastic mission with this show, the clashing vibrance works well with the intentional ‘ill fitting’ playsuits/t-shirts and jumpers.  The leather tabards has made an appearance in Holland show which fits ideally with the rest of his silhouettes. Statement pieces such as  the washed out patterned jeans, well I hate to use the expression but so wrong they are just utterly right! I was refreshed by Holland’s satirical collection, he makes fashion visually enthusiastic and ultimately fun in a whimsical manner that could not be pulled off by many and still be respected. I just can’t wait to get shopping and play dress up at home, whilst watching my all time 80s movies – thanks Henry for allowing me to reminisce! And the heavy bold jewellery, well that just adds to my dress up moment!
